Two Hoomans And a Spaniel In NZ 
Hi, I’m a Brit who’s on the verge of buying a little plot in Huwea. I wondered if I could ask you a couple of questions – esp. About how you get to love there full time(visas etc…). We’ve been traveling in NZ and fell in love with the place esp when we saw Huwea. Any help much obliged.

Sure, no problem. In terms of getting here (we had never been to NZ or even Hawea), but I applied for a medical writing job in Auckland which came with a residency visa (they couldn’t find a local to do the job). Saying that, I had enough points on the ImmigrationNZ points system to get residency on the skilled shortage list. After a year we moved down here (Hawea) to a rental (a friend from the UK has a house here; hence, the only reason why we moved to Hawea). We definitely struck gold by coming here, it is beautiful. Looking at your profile it looks like you have your own company, so you may be able to come in on a business visa. we now own our own medical writing business, it is very easy to set up a business here.
